It begins with a vision — of portraits that reflect the honor, dedication, and legacy of your team. At Timeless Heroes Photography, we bring that vision to life.
Led by Jennifer (former Firefighter) and Michael (U.S. Air Force veteran & EOD), our team understands the hero mindset and delivers a no-compromise portrait experience.
Let’s Get Started
Once you choose to partner with us, we will coordinate the best dates and times for your department. We’ll discuss background options, decide which uniform and poses best reflect your team’s identity, finalize the shoot location and answer any administration questions. From uniform styles to pose selections, we make everything simple — so you can focus on your mission.
Before Photo Day
To ensure a seamless session, we’ll work with you ahead of time to collect the final roster of your members, verify every uniform is and ready, and clarify any last-minute details. We’ll reach out the week of your shoot to reconfirm the schedule, location and workflow so your team arrives fully prepared.
Photo Day is Here
The big day arrives — and we arrive early (30–45 minutes) to set the stage and welcome your team. We bring samples of prints and product options so your members see exactly what’s possible. We’ll have lint rollers, a mirror, combs and more — so every uniform looks its best.
The process is efficient and clear:
Step 1: Uniform check.
Step 2: Employee is photographed
Step 3: On-site viewing of images & product options
Step 4: Order placement and payment
Step 5: Gallery goes live for additional purchases
Step 6: Final delivery — finished portraits, products, and digitals
We shoot on green screen to open up customization, letting you choose from premium background options and a wide range of product formats beyond traditional prints.
Proofing and Ordering
We offer same-day, on-site viewing so your team can pick and pay for their portraits right then and there. We accept all major credit cards, Apple Pay, Venmo, CashApp, cash and check. We also provide an online proofing gallery for orders after the session — giving every member flexibility. And we’re always available: our direct telephone number and email are provided so our team is ready to help when you need us.
Delivery of Photos
After the session, we begin production immediately. All orders and products are printed and processed at a national-lab standard, individually packaged and delivered or shipped to your department’s main office (typically 4-6 weeks). We stand behind our work with 100 % satisfaction — if there’s ever an issue, just let us know and we’ll address it promptly.
“At Timeless Heroes Photography, we don’t just take photos — we preserve legacy, honor service, and deliver portraits your team will be proud of for decades.”

-
We recommend reserving your dates as early as possible, especially if your department needs multiple photography days or has a specific anniversary, banquet, retirement, or presentation deadline.
Many departments schedule several months in advance so personnel have plenty of time to prepare. Some departments even schedule a year out.
-
The number of photography days depends on your department size, shift schedule, number of locations, and the type of photography being completed.
Many departments schedule photography across multiple shifts so every member has an opportunity to participate. During the planning process, we will help determine the most efficient schedule for your department.
-
Our portrait process is designed to be efficient without feeling rushed.
Each person is guided through posing, uniform adjustments, and expression so they look confident and professional. Most individuals take only a few minutes, allowing personnel to return to duty quickly.
-
We understand that emergency calls always come first.
We build flexibility into the photography schedule and will work with your department coordinator to photograph personnel when they are available. If someone is called away, we will do everything possible to fit them back into the schedule later that day.
-
Not at all.
We provide complete posing direction throughout the session. We will guide each person through stance, hand placement, posture, facial expression, and uniform positioning.
Your personnel simply need to arrive prepared. We will take care of the rest.
-
Uniform requirements are determined by your department.
Most departments choose a Class A, Class B, duty, dress, or station uniform depending on how the photographs will be used. We recommend that uniforms be clean, pressed, complete, and worn consistently throughout the department.
Before photo day, your coordinator will receive preparation information that can be shared with all participating personnel.
-
In many cases, yes.
Departments may choose to photograph personnel in more than one uniform, create separate leadership portraits, include specialty teams, or schedule additional images for recruitment, marketing, memorials, or department publications.
Additional photography needs should be discussed during the planning process so enough time can be included in the schedule.
-
Yes.
Depending on your project, we can incorporate apparatus, stations, leadership teams, specialty units, historical items, flags, badges, equipment, and other meaningful department elements.
These details can help tell a more complete story about your organization.
-
Yes.
We can photograph full department groups, shifts, stations, command staff, specialty teams, executive boards, graduating classes, and other group combinations.
Group photography should be planned in advance so we can coordinate the best location, timing, and arrangement.
-
A Legacy Board is a custom-designed department composite featuring your personnel, department identity, leadership, and other meaningful elements.
Each Legacy Board is created specifically for your organization. It may include individual portraits, department branding, apparatus, historical imagery, memorial acknowledgments, founding dates, mottos, or specialty divisions.
The finished artwork becomes a lasting visual record of the people serving your department during that chapter of its history.
-
Yes.
We can create a new Legacy Board for your current personnel or help your department begin an ongoing tradition of updating the board as staffing and leadership change.
If you already have a previous board, we can discuss what you like about it, what you would like to change, and how the new design should represent your department today.
-
Once the retouching is complete, department members and their families will receive access to a private online gallery.
Available products may include prints, wall portraits, digital images, gifts, and other keepsakes. Ordering is completed directly through the gallery, so the department does not have to collect order forms or payments.
-
Generally, no.
When individual sales are offered, department members place their own orders through the private online gallery. Payments are processed directly through the ordering system.
Any department-funded artwork, photography, Legacy Boards, publications, or specialty products will be outlined separately in your proposal.
-
No.
Unless your department has selected a package that includes specific products, personnel are not required to purchase individual photographs.
The ordering gallery is simply available for those who would like portraits for themselves or their families.
-
Turnaround time depends on the size of the department, the number of images, the products selected, and whether custom design work is included.
Individual portrait galleries are typically prepared after the images have been carefully reviewed and edited.
Legacy Boards and other custom artwork include a design and approval process. Once the final design is approved, production and shipping begin.
Your estimated timeline will be discussed during the planning process.

Absolutely.
Your department will receive a proof of the design for review. We will work with your designated contact to make corrections and finalize the artwork before it is sent to production.
Nothing is printed until the department has approved the final design.

Depending on the project, department size, location, and number of missed personnel, additional photography options may be available. Any return visit or special arrangements would be discussed with the department coordinator.

In some situations, yes.

Each project is different, but departments are commonly asked to provide:
A current personnel roster
Department logos or patches
Rank and leadership information
Scheduling or shift information
Historical images or department details, when applicable
A primary contact who can review information and approve artwork
We will guide your coordinator through each step and provide clear instructions before anything is due.
-
Your department will select one primary coordinator.
This person will help confirm scheduling, distribute preparation information, provide roster details, answer department-specific questions, and review custom artwork.
We keep the process organized and communicate directly with the coordinator so information does not get lost between multiple contacts.
-
The first step is a simple conversation.
We will learn about your department, the number of personnel involved, your photography needs, scheduling considerations, and the final products you are interested in creating.
From there, we will recommend the best approach and prepare a customized proposal for your department.
